Born under a bad sign? Maybe.
After coming into the world in 1970, John Turner spent an easy, carefree childhood in Raymond, MS, his early years filled with arguments with his sisters and nights spent circling his house naked while singing "Mary Had a Little Lamb."
After graduating in acting from the Univ. of Southern Mississippi in 1997, John moved to upstate New York to work for a well-known educational theatre company.
In May 2002, he was mugged and assaulted, and he received a traumatic brain injury in the attack. John endured a seven-month hospital stay and two more years of intense rehabilitation.
He is now re-establishing a career as a journalist and author. |
